I've started to work on some of Syd's friends. Mel will surely be next!

3D Sydney WIP 3

More updates! I've starting building the set. You'll also notice I've added the braces to Syd's pants. I detest the generic brick texture so I plan to redo it with a more fitting cartoony feel. I will also subdivide the points on the rounded surfaces of Syd's body to remove the geometric feel to the edges.

3D Syd Update

I've rendered the shadows and added a background, mouth, belly button and fingers. I'm really happy about how this is shaping up. This is the sort of 3D work I enjoy. Designs that aren't overly specular and could almost feel like they were made of clay.

I used a page from the first part of Sydney and the reQuest for Eternal Enlightenment as a background.

Wedgetail Vodka

Uni assignment where we had to design a label for a fictional Vodka Distillery and render a mockup of it on a 3D bottle.

Okay. This is just a work in progress! don't bite my head off. I'm new to this world of 3D rendering!
UPDATE: I traced over the original 3D render with colours in photoshop to give an impressions of a finished 3D Sydney!
